This powerful print is an encouraging reminder of hope and resilience. Peter was inspired by a famous poem, “To A Mouse,” written in 1785 by Robert Burns, a Scottish poet. He gave a creative twist to the original: “The best laid plans of mice and men gang aft agley,” adding “Keep the faith and don’t give up, good things will come your way.” We all need that reminder -no matter our age.
